The 4th annual Aboriginal Clean Energy Forum has been enormously successful in helping First Nations communities become active partners in hydro, wind, biomass and solar projects from coast-to-coast-to-coast. This conference is the foremost national event that examines how Aboriginal communities across Canada can participate in the development of clean energy projects to derive a wide spectrum of economic, social and environmental benefits for communities, and First Nations governments and peoples.
In addition to a comprehensive presentation on New Funding and Financing Initiatives, the program will present a panel on The Future of Electricity Transmission, featuring 4 First Nation chiefs and 2 industry executives, as well as in-depth workshops on clean energy technologies, partnership strategies, and other relevant topics. The Honourable Brad Diguid, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, will also be speaking.
